'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

  1. Hi sweetie, I've missed seeing your beautiful face ♥ Again, congrats on your (awesome) job at Bloomsbury :D I don't get along with CC either and I had major issues with her TMI series which is probably why I avoided The Magisterium. I'll be looking out for your review for the sequel for sure! The Rest of Us Just Live Here sounds great too and I love the look of the book ♥ Happy reading love xx

  2. Ooh I really want to read the new Patrick Ness. I read my first novel by him earlier this year (The Knife of Never Letting Go) and it was rather awesome.
I only read the first book of the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. Enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Haven't read anything else by her so far.
OMG I really want to read Snow Like Ashes. I got a hardcover copy on my shelf that I got as a present but just haven't got round to it yet. I'll have to read it soon.
As my TBR is silly I'm not doing any readalongs at the moment. I LOVE the Mistborn trilogy. Mr Sanderson is just so awesome and his writing is crazy detailed (plus the best magic systems I've ever read).
Ooh and congrats on your job at Bloomsbury. So exciting :)

  3. I'm really excited for Ice Like Fire also! I want to check out the Mistborn series, but I don't think I'll start it until next year.
