'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

About Me

The Blogger

Hey, I'm Leah a 24 year old from Wales, UK. I'm a Marketing and Publicity Assistant for Orion Children's books.

I have a BA in English Literature and an MA English at Swansea University. I started this blog as a way to get myself into the habit of reading and reviewing books .

Aside from reading and literature generally, I love archery, art, rope bracelets, gender studies, taking lots of photos, dreaming of travelling and have a completely unhealthy fixation with VW camper vans. My room is filled to the brim with them! They're unbelievably awesome and would love the chance to buy one to fix up :).

The Books

My favourite genres are definitely varied. If I can escape real life for a few hours every day with a book then I will read it. So that leaves me with paranormal romance, paranormal generally, fantasy, sci-fi, dystopian literature, YA, historical fiction, interpretations of fairy tales/texts - love them! I also occasionally read some light-hearted chick-lit, thrillers, etc. etc. etc.
