Showcase Sunday #60

It's Sunday again so we all know that it's time for Showcase Sunday. It's a lovely weekly meme hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea, and it allows us to show off all the lovely buys this week. I love this meme as it gives a chance for us to show and browse so many books!

Hi again! It's been about 3 weeks since I last posted a Showcase Sunday, and since then it's been my birthday and Christmas. I can't believe I've been slacking with my blog so much lately. It's dominated by reviews/ meme's at the moment so I definitely need to pull my finger out for the new year and start up more discussion or exploration posts. Anyway, this is quite a big haul so I'm excited to share it all with you :)

Bought
I had a few Waterstones gift cards for my birthday and Christmas so they went towards a few of these. Four of them were so cheap in The Works sale so I got four books for £4! I'm really excited about my copy of Rae Carson's The Girl of Fire and Thorns because I finally managed to get my hands on the gorgeous covers rather than the grim UK ones! :)

ARCs
I had such an amazing surprise when a finished copy of The Queen of Dreams appeared on my doorstep. I reviewed an ARC of it awhile ago and the finished copy is absolutely stunning! The pictures above show some of the illustrations in the book and the cover looks lovely.

Gifted
My boyfriend bought me The Book Thief yesterday, which I'm really looking forward to reading! Technically I won Hourglass, so thank you Ula for that! :) And then my ultimate Christmas present from my little sister and her boyfriend: Harry Potter: Page to Screen.
