'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

  6. Ooooh We share both Cinder & Crown of Midnight ♥ SO GOOD!! I finally got my copy of Allegiant in the mail though *jumps around* so that one shouldn't take me too long to get into (I hope!) hehe Pawn & All Our Yesterdays are on my TBR as well!!

  7. Scarlet and Crown of Midnight made it on to my list, but I had to leave All Our Yesterdays off, since I read so many great books this year. I also enjoyed Caitlin Moran's book, but there were a few other non-fiction tomes that pipped that one into a place in my top 10.

Here's to more great books in 2014.
