'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

  4. I think I've been reading Pullman's Grimm Tales for a year now. I keep forgetting I'm reading it but I really like seeing how much they've evolved (and learning new ones).

  8. I've heard so many great things about Before I Fall! I've had it on my bookcase for ages but I haven't read it yet. I hope it's as good as everyone says it is.
The Waking World and Talker 25 both sound amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of them both!

  9. Ooh, Cress. I can't decide if I want to request chapter one now or just wait for the whole thing and devour it at once.

I loved the Philip Pullman book - the stories were wonderfully told and I really liked the analysis as well. I hope you enjoy it.

    Here's how my week went.
