'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

Harry Potter #39

This is a meme hosted by me here at my blog :).The aim of this meme is to share with fellow bloggers a character, spell, chapter, object or quote from the books/ films/ J. K. Rowling herself or anything Potter related! I will be picking a topic within HP for us to focus on each week and then if anyone wants to take part feel free! All I ask is to link back here, to my blog :). There is now a full list of the topics to come in the Harry Potter section of my blog here

Favourite Moment in Goblet of Fire
I'd have to say the transformation of Hermione. I loved but hated how everyone was so gobsmacked at how beautiful she is. I love that Hermione is just a normal girl and this scene I felt shows her becoming a woman. She's intelligent and great - if only Ron hadn't spoilt it for her! It also shows one of our first key glimpses into what's to come between Ron and Hermione :D weee!

  1. Sigh...wonderful moment ^^ Hermione is such a amazing and beautiful character - both inside and out. I admit, I was really annoyed to when everyone was so shocked that she was beautiful >.< Honestly, it was about time Ron and Harry saw her for what she was: a GIRL! hehe And yeah I love the first glimpses into the epic love story that is Ron & Hermione ♥

  2. Ah, great pick! I loved how she's usually level-headed and above this girly nonsense, but for this, she went all out, all girly and everything, embraced her other self as well, and showed them all up! Great moment :)

  3. Hermione is just so lovely in that scene; it was so well portrayed in the film, too. Definitely some major foreshadowing of her and Ron's future there; awesome pick! :D

Please leave a comment, I love reading each and every one of them :).
