'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

JULY Blog Recap

July has been pretty quiet generally. Settling back into life at home, had a lovely holiday in New Quay, Wales. I also got to see my wonderful boyfriend graduate from university with a 2:1! I felt so incredibly proud. He worked so hard for it and it's great to see all of that hard work pay off :). Alongside this, I attended an awesome book launch in London. It was a book launch hosted by Angry Robot/ Strange Chemistry and it was to celebrate the release of Kim Curran's Control and Bryony Pearce's The Weight of Souls. It was such an amazing day and these two author, plus Caroline and Amanda are absolutely lovely women and I look forward to seeing them again at some point!

Other than this, not much has happened in July. There has been guest posts by S. M. Wheeler, Bryony Pearce, Madeline Ashby and William Sutton on the blog, which have been great! I have managed to review ten books again this month, which is great! Here's a list:
