'Reading a book is like re-writing it for yourself. You bring to a novel, anything you read, all your experience of the world. You bring your history and you read it in your own terms.'- Angela Carter

BLOGOVERSARY CELEBRATIONS + Giveaways!

Uncorked Thoughts has reached its ONE YEAR blogoversary!
I am so unbelievably excited about this and am so proud of what my blog has become. There is no way that I thought that I would keep going with this and that it would develop so much in a year. I've learnt so many things, from how the publishing world works to various html coding - the html being something I would have thought impossible!

Another thing is that I have learnt how absolutely amazing the people are who are part of the blogosphere. You are all so amazing and so lovely and I am proud to be a part of this little part of the internet. I've discovered so many wonderful books and authors, had fun posting reviews and various other posts and hosted giveaways and loved every single second of it.

It's been amazing interacting with so many wonderful people and discovering this whole new world. To give back to you guys I am going to host a couple of giveaways (both UK and INT) just to say a massive THANK YOU for supporting me through this first year!

I am going to be giving away:

  • One $15/£10 book through The Book Depository (INT)
  • One signed copy of Black Dog by Stephen Booth + swag (UK)
  • One ARC Zenn Scarlett by Christian Schoon (UK)
  • The entire Throne of Glass novellas (4) (INT)
  • One e-book of Daughter of Smoke and Bone (INT)
The first giveaway is open to UK ONLY, but the second is open to anyone, anywhere! (Don't forget UK people, you can enter BOTH giveaways!)
Please play by the rules of the rafflecopter giveaway, I reserve the right to disqualify any rule breakers.
Winners have 48 hours to claim their prize or a new winner will be chosen.
ENJOY!

  13. I'd like a book of choice. I can't decide yet, what book. I'm also INT and I already have Daughter of Smoke and Bone hardback (Estonian translation), plus I don't prefer ebooks.
Should I be UK, I also already have Zenn Scarlett. Haven't read neither yet, but am looking forward to! (:
